REISTERSTOWN, MD - he Stevenson women's hockey team picked up their first win of the season as they opened up UCHC play against Neumann.
Four different goal scorers for the Mustangs led them to a 6-2 victory over the knights. Katelyn Reid, and Trinity Barcless, each netted one while Hannah Labbe and Karly Aguirre added two.

- Neumann got on the board first on a power-play goal, 13:05 into the contest to start off with the lead.
- Six minutes later the Mustangs also capitalized on a power play as Nikki Kendrick and Barcless assisted Labbe on the goal to tie up the game.

- At the 2:59 mark of the second period, Stevenson netted their second goal of the game to take a 2-1 lead. Tea Ferrara and KaliJo Zagula assisted Reid on the goal.
- Seconds following the end of a Stevenson power play, the Mustangs scored their third goal of the game. Aguire found the back of the net on an assist from Labbe.
- At the 12:20 minute mark, the Mustangs scored yet again to lead, 3-1 over Neumann. This time, Aguire assisted Barcless for the goal.
- Two minutes later and following a Stevenson power play, the Knights tallied their second goal of the game to cut the Mustangs lead to 3-2.
- At the 17:20 minute mark, Maddie Silverman and Barcless assisted Aguire on another Mustang goal.

- At the 7:29 minute mark in the final period, Aguire recorded the Mustang's final goal with an assist from Barcless.
- With five minutes left in the period the Mustangs recorded four shots in a row but they were all saved by Michelle Winand-Bacon.

- Stevenson outshot Neumann 43-7.
- Stevenson and Neumann each went 1 for 4 on power plays.
