ROCHESTER, NY - The United Collegiate Hockey Conference is proud to announce the conference's All-Academic team selections for the league's 2020-21 season. The UCHC's All-Academic distinction is an opportunity to recognize student athletes at our member institutions not only for the work they put in to be part of a collegiate hockey program, but the work they do inside the classroom to prepare for their future careers.
A surging Chatham University program backed up an improvement on the ice with a strong performance off the ice as they led the conference with 26 honorees. Wilkes had the second-highest total with 25.
For All-Academic consideration, member schools submit the names of players who meet the conference's eligibility criteria. To be eligible, a player must have completed at least one academic year at their current institution, while holding a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 for all terms of the stipulated 2020-21 academic year.
