Miller-Johnson Scores Twice as No. 5 Nazareth Stays Unbeaten

ROCHESTER, NY – Senior Olivia Miller-Johnson scored a pair of goals and four other Golden Flyers added goals as the No. 5 Nazareth Women's Hockey team remained unbeaten with a 6-0 win over Lebanon Valley in a United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) game Saturday afternoon.

After a scoreless first period, sophomore Kate Cascio broke the tie with her first goal of the season.

Just 17 seconds later, Miller-Johnson gave Nazareth a 2-0 lead as she knocked in a rebound for the first of her two goals in the game.

Four minutes later, Miller-Johnson scored a short-handed goal to push the Nazareth (6-0-0 overall, 6-0-0 UCHC) lead to 3-0.

In the final period, sophomores Maggie Pfalzgraf and Ivey Lyden scored within a four-minute span and freshman Abby Flanagan moved into the goal scoring lead on the team with her sixth goal of the season to cap the scoring and give Nazareth the 6-0 lead.

Freshman MaÏka Paquin made her second career start and made eight saves to earn the victory.

Nazareth will travel to UMass-Boston after Thanksgiving to compete in the annual Cod Fish Bowl Tournament with games against Bowdoin and then either UMass-Boston or Colby.
