Lebanon Valley and Rivier Skate to 1-1 Tie in Boston Landing Consolation Game

BOSTON, MA – The Lebanon Valley men's ice hockey team and the Raiders of Rivier came to a 1-1 draw on Sunday evening at the Boston Landing Invitational. 
 
The Raiders did not hesitate to get on the board as they put away their goal at 7:29 in the first period. Lebanon Valley (2-9-2 Overall, 1-6-1 UCHC) then joined the board as Tanner Tolliver netted a goal at 13:25 in the second period. Despite offensive efforts from both teams in the third period and two periods of overtime, the contest came to a 1-1 draw. 
 
Inside the Box
  • Tolliver put away the single goal for LVC, as Riley Johnson and Haralds Jirgens handed out an assist.
  • Rais Francis, Blake Tosto, and Brad Viola topped the shots column with four a piece. 
  • Darion Benchich, Tyler Fittro, Brenden Yingling, and Jirgens each put up two blocks. 
  • Gabriel Pigeon and Chris Branch split time in the crease today for the Dutchmen, putting up 35 saves.
