DANBURY, CT - An overtime goal by Zane Kindrachuk (Calgary, Alberta) lifted the Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team to a 5-4 win over Western Connecticut State University on Friday evening in non-conference play.
The Falcons spread out the scoring as Charles Lavoie (Chicoutimi, Quebec), Connor Bertamini (Calgary, Alberta), Peter Keese (Minnetonka, MN) and Aleksy Bandu (Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot, Quebec) all added goals along with Kindrachuk.
Chace Hale (Pittsburgh, Pa.) got the win in net for the Falcons, stopping 21 shots.
Kindrachuk's game-winning overtime goal was his fourth in the last two seasons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wolves struck first with a goal at the 9:14 mark of the first period on a power-play goal from Scott McNulty.
- Keese answered over four minutes later with his first of the season off a pass from Bailey Kirwin (Barrie, Ontario), tying the game at 1-1.
- Albertus got its first lead of the game as Bandu scored his first career goal off a pass from Caden Pattison (Lake Stevens, Wash.).
- The lead was short lived as McNulty added his second goal of the game just over a minute later. The Wolves would then take their second lead of the game after a goal from Chris Hamilton.
- Just 82 seconds into the third period, Lavoie scored on a power-play to tie the game at 3-3 off assists from Kirwin and Keese.
- Later in the third, Bertamini gave the Falcons the lead off a pass from Justin Sullivan (Laval, Quebec) at the 16:16 mark.
- With just 32 seconds left, the Wolves tied the game with a two-man advantage as Phil Parker scored, sending the game into overtime.
- Kindrachuk would score his game-winner just 52 seconds into the final period, giving the Falcons the win.
