No. 6 Nazareth Sweeps Chatham; Golden Flyers Stay Unbeaten in 2025-26

ROCHESTER, NY – Amy Laskowski and Meredith Boettcher each tallied a pair of goals and added an assist as No. 6 Nazareth completed the weekend sweep of Chatham on Saturday with a 7-1 win. The Golden Flyers improve to 16-0-1 overall and 6-0-0 in UCHC play, while Chatham falls to 1-13-2 and 0-6-0, respectively.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Nazareth had three first period goals, including a power play goal on the final one.
  • Abby Flanagan ripped one off the pipe 2:34 to open up the scoring.
  • Nazareth got another unassisted goal from Brooke Judkiewicz near the five minute mark to make it 2-0.
  • Laskwoski had tremendous stick handling to beat a defender and score a power play goal at the 15:42 mark off an assist from Boettcher.
  • In the second period, Laskowski got her second of the day on a breakout with assists to Nikki Sharp and Charlotte Crudale.
  • Boettcher got on the scoring train just a minute later in close from Laskowski and Ave Meteyer.
  • The Cougars were able to get on the board with a 5-on-3 power play at the 11:02 mark.
  • It was 5-1 heading into the second intermission.
  • Early in the third period, Corisca Skibinski soaked a shot on the power play and took it all the way to the other end for a backhand short handed goal.
  • Boettcher got her second of the day at the seven minute mark from Judkiewicz.
  • Mia Gonsalves played all 60 minutes, making four saves.
GAME NOTES
  • Nazareth boasts the top five players in the conference with assists, however its first two goals of the game were unassisted.
  • Laskowski has already surpassed her freshman year totals of 30 points (16 G, 14 A). She has a team-leading 19 goals and 12 assists for 31 points.
  • Boettcher is second on the team in goals (12) and points (21).
