HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Brockport got on the board first as Dominic Chirico sent a backward pass to teammate Brody Seitz. Seitz sent a pass toward the crease, where Kaleb Miller defelcted the puck into the net past Hale.
  • The Falcons netted the 1-1 equalizer at the 13:06 mark as Lozinski had just jumped onto the ice, skating toward a defelcted shot by Bailey Kirwin (Barrie, Ontario), and firing a shot past Golden Eagles goaltender, Dax Easter.
  • With back and forth action throughout the second period, the Falcons broke through as Caden Pattison (Lake Stevens, Wash.) won a battle along the boards, sending a pass ahead to Dann, who beat his defender and the goaltender to put away his sixth goal of the season at the 16:39 mark.
  • The Falcons added their third and final goal of the game after a save on Hale's blocker side deflected into the boards, and Dedinas skated coast-to-coast from the defensive zone to beat two defenders, recover the defelcted puck, and slip the puck past Easter.
  • Brockport added one more goal as Manny Sanchez took a cross-crease pass to beat Hale.
