SUNY Geneseo senior forward Alex Dameski and junior defenseman Sean Melso and Chatham University senior forward Nick Cyprian were named 2025-26 CCM/American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) East All-Americans on Thursday, March 26.
Dameski and Melso earned first team honors, while was a third team selection. Melso and Cyprian both garnered their second straight All-American honor, as Melso was a third team pick in 2024-25 and Cyprian was a second ream selection. Dameski is a first-time All-American. It is the second straight season that the UCHC produced a trio of All-Americans.
Dameski, a native of Oakville, Ontario, was named the 2025-26 UCHC Player of the Year. He enjoyed a standout season, finishing with 21 goals and 16 assists for 37 points with a plus-23 rating in 27 games played. Dameski is tied for third nationally with five game-winning goals, while his 21 goals are tied for fourth in Division III. Dameski excelled in league play, scoring 25 points on 14 goals and 11 assists to go along with a plus-17 rating and four game-winning tallies in 16 contests. He tied for the league lead in goals and points in UCHC play this season and recorded 14 multiple-point efforts overall in 2025-26.
Dameski finishes his four-year career at Geneseo with 59 goals and 98 points in 108 career games. He is third among all active Division III players in goals. Dameski tallied 19 power-play goals and 13 game-winning markers in four seasons.
Melso earned UCHC first team accolades earlier in the month for the second straight year. A native of Philadelphia, PA, Melso finished the 2025-26 season with 27 points, sixth-most among all defensemen, on eight goals and 19 assists in 27 contests, recording 30 blocked shots and a plus-19 rating. He tallied 18 points in 16 league games this season. Melso, who was previously the 2024-25 UCHC Defensive Player of the Year, has 60 career points on 19 goals and 41 points from the blueline in 73 contests. He helped lead Geneseo the 2025 UCHC Championship and NCAA National Semifinal.
Cyprian, a native of Aledo, TX, led the UCHC in scoring with 45 points on 18 goals and 27 assists in 27 games, while recording a plus-21 rating in 2025-26. He was tied for third nationally in points and fourth in points per game, while tallying three power-play goals and a pair of game-winning markers. Cyprian had 23 points on nine goals and 14 assists in 16 league games this season. He also added five points in two postseason contests. A three-time UCHC Player of the Week, A two-time UCHC Player of the Week, Cyprian recorded 15 multiple-point contests this season, including a season-best four-point outing at Manhattanville on Feb. 7.
Last season, Cyprian was named the UCHC Player of the Year and was a finalist for the Sid Watson Award as the Division III Player of the Year. He finishes his illustrious four-year career with 121 points on 46 goals and 75 assists in 105 games played. Cyprian is sixth among all active Division III players in points.
