Arcadia Rolls Past Lebanon Valley

HERSHEY, PA - The Arcadia University men's ice hockey never trailed en route to a 7-1 win over United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) foe, Lebanon Valley on Saturday night.  

The Knights improved their record to 2-5-1 overall and 2-3-1 in UCHC play.  

Arcadia had six different goal scorers and 12 different players record a point in the victory. Drew Iannucci led the way with three points as he had two goals and an assist. Two other Knights also had multi-point games as Halen Cookston had a goal and an assist and Parker Bolda tallied two assists.  

Jeb Lindy got the start in goal for the Knights and made 28 saves. 

ARCADIA 7, LEBANON VALLEY 1 
HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • Dylan Florit opened the scoring for Arcadia just over three minutes into the opening period. Iannucci and James Spaargaren recorded the assists.  

  • Iannucci scored his first goal of the game just under six minutes into the middle period to give Arcadia a 2-0 lead. Brendan Dicker had the assist on the goal.  

  • Jared Shuter extended the Knights lead to 3-0 in the second period. Bolda and Cookston had the helpers on the goal. Lebanon Valley scored before the end of the third period to cut Arcadia's lead to 3-1 going into the intermission.  

  • Mike Kocsis scored his first goal of the season just over four minutes into the final period to give the Knights a 4-1 lead. Kyle Peters had the assist.  

  • Iannucci scored his second goal of the game in the third period to extend Arcadia's lead.  

  • Connor Bowey scored his first career goal on the power play, which was assisted by Cam Parrott to give Arcadia a 6-1 lead, and Cookston scored his first goal of the season for the Knights' seventh goal of the game, which was assisted by Justin Song and Bolda.
