GENESEO, NY - The No. 3 SUNY Geneseo Men's Hockey Team bounced back against Chatham with a 7-3 victory on Saturday night. Carter Diceman's two goals pushed the Ice Knights an overall record of 14-3-1 on the season and 10-1-1 in conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Carter Diceman scored his first of the night on a cross-ice pass from Tommy Winn at 1:29 in the second. Gabriel LaFlamme crashed the net and converted on Alex Dameskis wrap-around attempt to give Geneseo a 4-0 lead at 15:25 in the second. Less than a minute later, Sean Melso snuck the puck past the goalie to extend the lead to five; assisted by Colin Doherty and Tommy Winn.

Chatham spoiled the shutout at 4:39 in the third. Geneseo quickly responded with a goal from Nicholas Kovacs, Melso with the assistance. Chatham started a comeback attempt with tallies at 7:56 and 11:03. The Cougars pulled their goalie on the power play with nine minutes left, which led to Carter Diceman converting the open net to secure an important conference victory.
