hird UCHC weekly honors release of the 2025-26 season.
UCHC CO-MEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Carter Diceman, SUNY Geneseo, Jr., F, King City, Ontario
Diceman tallied four points on two goals and two assists and was plus-3 as the Knights went on the road and swept UCHC foe Albertus Magnus. He had an assist in Friday’s 4-2 win and scored a pair of goals and added an assist in the 5-2 victory Saturday.
UCHC CO-MEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – John Gutt, Utica, Sr., F, Middletown, NJ/Utica Jr. Comets
Gutt had two goals and two assists during a weekend sweep of UCHC rival SUNY Brockport, while also taking 13 of his 22 total faceoff opportunities for a 59.1 percent faceoff win rate. On Saturday, Gutt broke through, scoring twice and assisting once in a 5-2 win to cap off the weekend sweep. He also added an assist in Friday’s 4-1 win at Brockport.
UCHC WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Amy Laskowski, Nazareth, So., F, Clarendon Hills, IL/Hinsdale Central
Laskowski led the No. 7 Golden Flyers with four goals and an assist and was plus-6 in two wins over Manhattanville. She registered two goals and an assist on three shots and was plus-3 in a 5-1 win at Manhattanville Friday. Less than 24 hours later, Laskowski added two more goals and was plus-3 in 7-1 victory over the Valiants. It is her second UCHC weekly honor of the season.
UCHC MEN’S GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK – Cameron Kuntar, Chatham, Jr., G, Williamsville, NY
Kuntar made 66 saves on 69 shots in a weekend sweep over UCHC foe Nazareth, good for a .957 save percentage, extending the Cougars winning streak to six games. He made 33 saves in a 5-1 win Friday and stopped 33 more shots in a 3-2 win on Saturday. It is Kuntar’s second straight UCHC weekly honor.
UCHC WOMEN’S GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK – Christmas Johnson, Albertus Magnus, Jr., G, Winnipeg, Manitoba
Johnson stopped 55-of-57 shots for a .948 save percentage and 1.51 goals against average, as the Falcons earned a home sweep against Chatham. She made 24 saves in a 5-1 win on Friday and stopped 31 shots in a 3-2 victory Saturday.
UCHC MEN’S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Greg Diamond, SUNY Geneseo, Fr., F, West Chester, PA
Diamond scored a pair of goals and was plus-2 to help SUNY Geneseo earn a weekend sweep to open UCHC play at Albertus Magnus. He scored in Geneseo’s 4-2 win Friday and added his second goal of the weekend in a 5-2 victory on Saturday.
UCHC WOMEN’S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Samantha Dobrzynski, Utica, Fr., F, Garnet Valley, PA
Dobrzynski scored the first four points of her collegiate career over on a goal and three assists and was plus-5 as the Pioneers swept a two-game UCHC home series against Hilbert College over the weekend. In game one, Dobrzynski both scored and assisted on a goal before turning in two assists in game two. She also won 15-of-21 faceoffs.
