UCHC Weekly Awards – February 9, 2026

The United Collegiate Hockey Conference is pleased to announce its weekly award winners, released on February 9, 2026, for games played from February 2 – February 8. The UCHC weekly awards program highlights the top performances from around the conference over each week of the regular season. It is the 12th UCHC weekly honors release of the 2025-26 season. 
 
UCHC MEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Nick Cyprian, Chatham, Sr., F, Aledo, TX

Cyprian tallied six points on two goals and four assists and was plus-2, as the Cougars clinched a UCHC postseason berth with a weekend sweep at Manhattanville. On Friday, Cyprian scored the game-winning goal and added an assist on the final goal to put the game on ice. In game two, he added another goal and three assists, one of which was on the game-winning goal. He now leads the UCHC with 18 assists for the season. In addition, Cyprian surpassed 110 career points. It is his second UCHC weekly honor of 2025-26.
 
UCHC WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Isabella Allsopp, Chatham, So., F, Pittsburgh, PA
Allsopp led the Chatham offense with eight points on three goals and five assists and was plus-9 as they swept a home-and-home series with the Hawks. In game one Friday, Allsopp scored two critical goals in the first multi-goal game of her career. She also added an assist in the game. The next day, she set a career high in single-game points with five, after recording a goal and four helpers.
 
UCHC MEN’S CO-GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK – Cameron Kuntar, Chatham, Jr., G, Williamsville, NY
Kuntar earned the shutout in Saturday’s 7-0 win at Manhattanville that clinched a postseason berth. He made 37 saves, including 11 in the opening period and 17 more in the second stanza, leading the Cougars defensively in their decisive win. He lowered his season-long goals against average to 1.90 and raised his save percentage to .945, which leads the UCHC. Kuntar is now a three-time UCHC Goaltender of the Week selection.
 
UCHC MEN’S CO-GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK – Jacob Torgner, SUNY Geneseo, Jr., G, Mjolby, Sweden
Torgner helped lead Geneseo to an upset over No. 6 Oswego on Saturday night, only allowing one goal while making 29 saves. He stopped five shots in the opening period and 17 in the second, as the Knights opened up a 2-0 lead after 40 minutes of play. Torgner made eight more saves in the third period, as Geneseo improved to 14-6-1 in 2025-26 with the win. Torgner is now a four-time UCHC Goaltender of the Week selection.
 
UCHC WOMEN’S CO-GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK – Christmas Johnson, Albertus Magnus, Jr., G, Winnipeg, Manitoba
Johnson went 2-0 on the week, allowing just one goal on 45 shots for a .978 save percentage. She recorded a shutout win with 15 saves over Manhattanville on Friday. Johnson followed that up by stopping 29-of-30 shots in a 2-1 victory on Saturday. Johnson is now a three-time UCHC Goaltender of the Week in 2025-26.
 
UCHC WOMEN’S CO-GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK – Alex Venning, Utica, So., G, Courtice, Ontario/Holy Trinity Courtice
Venning and the Pioneers battled swept St. John Fisher in a key home-and-home set. She made 54 saves on 55 shots for a .982 save percentage over the two-game series home her second and third wins of the season, and the first shutout of her collegiate career. Venning made saves on all but one of 26 shots in game one before turning away all 29 in game two. Her game two shutout win was highlighted by an 18-save third period, shutting the door on the Cardinals' attempts to work back into the game.

UCHC MEN’S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Paul Dalessio, Nazareth, Fr., G, Burlington, MA
Dalessio tallied 54 saves on 57 shots in two close wins over St. John Fisher, recording a 1.50 goals against average and a .947 save percentage. He collected 29 saves on 31 shots in a 4-2 win at St. John Fisher on Friday and 25 saves on 26 shots in a 2-1 victory on home ice Saturday night. Dalessio is now a two-time UCHC Rookie of the Week.
 
UCHC WOMEN’S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Veronica Houk, Utica, Fr., D, Richboro, PA
Houk and the Pioneers swept UCHC rival St. John Fisher in a key home-and-home set, as Houk led the team in with three points and was plus-3 on the weekend. She turned in one goal and one assist in the 5-1 Utica win in game one on home ice Friday before assisting on the game-winning goal in the 2-0 game two road victory on Saturday. Additionally, Houk blocked five shots in the two games.
