COLMAR, PA -- Stevenson men's hockey found the goal twice in the third period as the Mustangs racked up their sixth win in a row with a 3-0 shutout of Arcadia on Saturday. Stevenson (9-2-1, 5-2) received offensive contributions from three different goal scorers, while Ryan Kenny notched his second shutout of the season. 

Arcadia (2-10, 1-7) dropped its second consecutive contest in its inaugural season, finishing nearly identical in the shot department with the Mustangs. 

• The Mustangs opened the scoring just over one minute in, taking the early lead on a Seth Bergeron tally. 
• Stevenson maintained the flow of play for the next few minutes, continuing to toss looks toward Arcadia goalie Fletcher Bolda. 
• Arcadia tilted the ice in its favor, struggling to get shot attempts through as the Stevenson defense clogged up many of the lanes. 
• Eric Olson rifled one wide with just seconds remaining as the Mustangs went to the locker room ahead, 1-0. 

• Arcadia dictated the opening five minutes of the second stanza before Stevenson found its footing.
• Kenny made three saves as the Knights searched for the equalizer, turning aside attempts at 6:37, 7:27 and 7:40. 
• The Mustangs owned possession for large chunks of the period, but could not solve the Knight defense in an evenly-played contest. 

• Liam McCanney got Stevenson on the board just under eight minutes into the third on the power play, lifting the Mustangs to a 2-0 edge. 
• Stevenson had to kill off several penalties, which became two-man advantages after the Knights pulled the goalie. Kenny and the Mustangs held off any late gasps from the hosts, securing the shutout victory. 
• From there, Frank Vitucci added a late marker into the empty net to put things solely in control of the Mustangs with a 3-0 lead. 

• Kenny made 30 or more saves for the fifth time this season, notching his second shutout. 
• Stevenson is outscoring its opponents by a 25-8 margin during its six-game winning streak. 
• Aidan Graham had a team-high five shot attempts, going +1 with a shot block. In total, seven Mustangs ripped multiple chances on the day. 
• The Knights held a 33-32 margin in shots on the day, going 0-for-6 on the man advantage. 
• With his empty-net marker, Vitucci now leads the squad with seven goals. 

• Stevenson: The Mustangs are back on the ice for a pair of road contests to open the 2022 portion of the slate, visiting top-ranked Geneseo on Friday, January 7 at 7:00 p.m.
• Arcadia: The Knights travel to Morrisville State on Wednesday, January 5 at 5:30 p.m.
