COLMAR, PA - The Arcadia University men's ice hockey team took down United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) foe, King's, 4-3, on Friday night at Hatfield Ice Arena.
The Knights improved their record to 3-5-1 overall and 3-3-1 in UCHC play.
Drew Iannucci, James Spaargaren and Dylan Florit all recorded multi-point games in the victory. This is Iannucci's third multi-point game of the season and second game tallying three assists. He now has 14 points in nine games. Spaargaren found the back of the net twice in the Arcadia win and Florit dished out two assists.
Fletcher Bolda made 36 saves as he picked up his first win of the season between the pipes.

HOW IT HAPPENED

King's scored the first goal of the game six and a half minutes into the game.

The Knights answered just over a minute later as Jake Frankenfield scored his first career goal. Iannucci and Florit tallied the assists on the game-tying goal.

Arcadia took a 2-1 lead with seven minutes remaining in the opening frame as Cody Mastay scored his first career goal. Brett Schneider and Kyle Peters had the helpers on the goal.

Spaargaren scored his first goal of the game with 30 seconds remaining in the first period, giving the Knights a 3-1 lead. Iannucci and Florit had the assists.

Spaargaren found the back of the net for the second time eight minutes into the middle period. Iannucci and Parker Bolda had the assists.

King's cut the Knights lead to 4-2 late in the second period. It then scored a power play goal just under five minutes into the third period to get within, 4-3, but the Knights held on to take the win.
