Franchi Earns Shutout, as Lebanon Valley Downs King's

HERSHEY, PA – Lebanon Valley goalie Ty Franchi earned his first career shutout and the offense provided plenty of firepower to defeat King's, 4-0, on Friday, Feb. 4 in United Collegiate Hockey Conference play at Hersheypark Arena.

LVC has picked up a point and is unbeaten in its last four games.

After a scoreless first period, Blake Tosto put the Dutchmen on the board at 11:36 of the second period, taking a pass from behind the net and knocking it home.

Just three minutes later, thanks to a strong effort in their offensive end, Darion Benchich made it a 2-0 game with helpers from Cade Freer and Brad Viola.
