Arcadia Claims Road Win at Morrisville State

MORRISVILLE, NY – The Arcadia University men's ice hockey team never trailed as it took down Morrisville State, 4-2, on Tuesday evening in non-conference action. The Knights improved to 3-5-2 on the year with the win.
 
Bryce Battaglia scored two goals for his first career multi-goal game. Dylan Florit and Mike Kocsis also found the back of the net for the Knights in their second consecutive victory.
 
Hayden Williamson got his first career win in net for Arcadia as he made 33 saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Battaglia stuck first in the game, giving the Knights the lead just three minutes into the contest on the power play.
  • Morrisville State tied the game at one just under two minutes into the second period, but Battaglia scored his second of the game, also on the power play, six minutes later to give Arcadia a 2-1 advantage.
  • The Mustangs scored a power play goal of their own to knot the score at two, but Kocsis scored with under two minutes remaining in the second frame to give Arcadia a 3-2 lead heading into the intermission.
  • Florit extended Arcadia's lead to 4-2 just 38 seconds into the final period to seal the Knights victory.
