CANTON, NY – The Arcadia University men's ice hockey team picked up a road victory on Saturday afternoon, defeating SUNY Canton, 6-3. With the win, the Knights picked up their sixth victory of the season.
Connor Williams posted a career-high three points with two goals and an assist. His two goals were also a career high.
Brendan Dicker, Donnie Feldman, James Spaargaren and Dylan Florit all joined Williams on the score sheet with a goal. Spaargaren added an assist for his fourth multi-point game of the season.
First-year goaltender Ryan Burgess stopped a career-high 40 shots and picked up his first career victory between the pipes.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Williams scored the first goal of the game just under five minutes into the contest. Connor Dennis and Spaargaren tallied the assists on the score.
- For the second consecutive game, Dicker scored a shorthanded goal, which gave the Knights a 2-0 lead in the first period. Jared Shuter had the helper of the goal.
- SUNY Canton scored the first two goals of the second period to tie the game at two. Florit gave the Knights the lead back with a second period goal. Drew Iannucci and Aaron Hamel tallied the assists. Just over two minutes later, Feldman extended Arcadia's lead to 4-2. Brett Schneider and Jake Frankenfield recorded the assists on the score.
- Spaargaren scored the opening goal of the final period. Kyle Peters and Williams had the assists. SUNY Canton scored once more to get within two, but Williams scored an empty net power play goal to seal the Knights' 6-3 victory.
