The United Collegiate Hockey Conference announced the conference's women’s All-Academic team selections for the 2022-23 season. The league’s 11 member institutions combined to have 169 student-athletes honored.
Two-time defending UCHC Champion Nazareth University led the conference with 23 All-Academic honorees. Utica University Manhattanville College were right behind with 22 and 21 selections each. Overall, seven institutions had at least 15 All-Academic selections. Nearly two-thirds of the 169 honorees, 108, are two-time selections, while 70 student-athletes are three-time picks and 26 garnered the prestigious accolade for the fourth straight season.
Ashley Marchant from Chatham University, the Manhattanville duo of Kerry Carr and Holly Meredith, along with four Nazareth student-athletes, Delaney Carle, Gabriella DeMeo, Abbey Luth and Nikolle Van Stralen became five-time recipients of the All-Academic team award.
The UCHC's All-Academic distinction is an opportunity to recognize student athletes at our member institutions not only for the work they put in to be part of a collegiate hockey program, but the work they do inside the classroom to prepare for their future careers.
For All-Academic consideration, member schools submit the names of players who meet the conference's eligibility criteria. To be eligible, a player must have completed at least one academic year at their current institution, while holding a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 for all terms of the stipulated 2022-23 academic year.

ABOUT THE UNITED COLLEGIATE HOCKEY CONFERENCE
The United Collegiate Hockey Conference is a collaborative effort between eleven institutions to provide a competitive environment and structure for NCAA Division III men's and women's ice hockey in the Eastern United States. Our membership encompasses a wide geographic area spanning from Central and Western New York to the greater Pittsburgh and Baltimore areas. In its fifth season, the UCHC will incorporate the efforts of ice hockey student-athletes from Arcadia University, Alvernia University, Chatham University, King's College, Lebanon Valley College, Manhattanville College, Nazareth College, Neumann University, Stevenson University, Utica College, and Wilkes University into their strong, but evolving membership that strives for on-ice excellence while also preparing student athletes for their off-ice futures.
