UCHC Weekly Awards – November 10, 2025

The United Collegiate Hockey Conference is pleased to announce its weekly award winners, released on November 10, 2025, for games played from November 3-November 9. The UCHC weekly awards program highlights the top performances from around the conference over each week of the regular season. It is the second UCHC weekly honors release of the 2025-26 season. 
 
UCHC MEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Sam Ciappa, St. John Fisher, Fr., F, Baldwinsville, NY
Ciappa led the Cardinals offensively with six points on three goals and three assists and was plus-6, guiding the team to a perfect 2-0 weekend. He recorded two goals and one assist and was plus-3 in a 6-2 win over Morrisville, then added a power-play goal and two assists and was plus-3 in a 6-3 victory over Cortland.
 
UCHC WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Meredith Boettcher, Nazareth, Jr., F, Duluth, MN
Boettcher recorded three goals and an assist and was plus-5 in two wins for nationally-ranked Nazareth. She netted two goals, including the eventual game-winning tally and added an assist on five shots and was plus-3 in a 5-1 win over Morrisville on Friday night. On Saturday, Boettcher scored the game-winning goal and was plus-2 in Nazareth’s 2-1 win over SUNY Cortland.

UCHC MEN’S GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK – Cameron Kuntar, Chatham, Jr., G, Williamsville, NY
Kuntar made 38 saves on 39 shots in Saturday's road win over SUNY Fredonia, good for a .974 save percentage. Kuntar stopped eight first period shots, 15 in the second period and 15 more in the third period to help lift Chatham to a 4-0-0 start to begin 2025-26.
 
UCHC WOMEN’S GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK – Katherine Sheahan, Utica, Fr., G, Oak Lawn, IL
Sheahan stopped 67-of-70 shots for a .957 save percentage, as the Pioneers split a home-and-home series against No. 11 SUNY Oswego last weekend. In game one Friday, on Oswego’s ice, Sheahan stopped 27 of 30 shots that came her way. She bounced back the following night with a 40-save shutout for her first collegiate win, and to secure Utica’s home opener, a 1-0 win.
 
UCHC MEN’S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Justin Sullivan, Albertus Magnus, Fr., F, Laval, Quebec

Sullivan scored three goals in a pair of Albertus Magnus non-conference wins, netting the game-winning tally in each victory. He scored to give Albertus Magnus a 3-0 lead early in the third period in an eventual 4-2 win over Skidmore on Friday. Sullivan scored the Falcons first and third goals, as they raced out to a 6-0 lead in an eventual 6-2 win over Rivier on Saturday.
 
UCHC WOMEN’S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Morgan Miller, Chatham, Fr., G, Manchester, MO
Miller earned her first career win and shutout in Saturday's 1-0 overtime win over Buffalo State, the Cougars first victory of 2025-26. She stopped all 38 shots on goal she faced, including eight in the opening period, 14 in each of the second and third period and two more in overtime.

The United Collegiate Hockey Conference provides a competitive environment and structure for NCAA Division III men's and women's ice hockey in the Eastern United States. The UCHC will enter its ninth season in 2025-26 with original member Elmira College returning, along with newcomers Albertus Magnus College, Hilbert College, and St. John Fisher University joining second-year members SUNY Brockport and SUNY Geneseo, in addition to founding members Chatham University, Manhattanville University, Nazareth University and Utica University.
