The United Collegiate Hockey Conference is pleased to announce its weekly award winners, released on February 17, 2025, for games played from February 10– February 16, 2025. The UCHC weekly awards program highlights the top performances from around the conference over each week of the regular season. It is the 13th UCHC weekly honors release of the 2024-25 season.
UCHC MEN’S CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Tristan D’Elia, Manhattanville, So., F, West Chester, PA
D’Elia Led the Valiant offense in Saturday’s 8-3 win over Chatham, scoring a pair of goals and adding an assist for the first three-point game of his career. He was plus-3 in the win.
UCHC WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Ivey Lyden, Nazareth, Sr., D, Tomah, WI
Lyden scored three goals and was plus-2 in the weekend sweep against Chatham. In the 5-1 win on Friday, Lyden scored Nazareth's first goal and had a blocked shot. In the 6-0 win on Saturday, Lyden scored Nazareth's third and fourth goals, both in the second period.
UCHC MEN’S GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK – David Filak, SUNY Brockport, So., G, Northville, MI
Filak stopped all 33 shots he faced to lead SUNY Brockport to a 2-0 win over Nazareth on Saturday, as the Golden Eagles celebrated senior day. He made 14 saves in each of the last two periods to preserve the shutout.
UCHC WOMEN’S GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK – Olivia Cimorelli, Nazareth, Fr., G, West Deptford, NJ
Cimorelli helped Manhattanville earn a key overtime win on home ice against No. 12 Utica on Saturday, as she stopped 38 of 39 shots in the 2-1 win. Cimorelli lowered her goals against average on the year down to 3.15 and raised her save percentage to .919. It is her fourth UCHC weekly accolade of the season.
UCHC MEN’S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Nicholas Kovacs, SUNY Geneseo, Fr., D, Delta, British Columbia
Kovacs helped lead Geneseo to a 7-3 victory over Utica on Saturday, posting one goal and one assist in the win. Kovacs and the Knights now control their own destiny for playoff positioning, as they can earn the regular season title and the No. 1 seed with two regulation wins this weekend over Nazareth.
UCHC WOMEN’S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Amy Laskowski, Nazareth, Fr., F, Clarendon Hills, MI
Laskowski had four total points on a goal and three assists and was plus-4 across Nazareth's two wins over Chatham this past weekend. In the 5-1 win on Friday, Laskowski assisted on Nazareth's fourth goal. In the 6-0 win on Saturday, Laskowski assisted on Nazareth's first and third goals, while also scoring the sixth. It is her second UCHC weekly honor of the season.

The United Collegiate Hockey Conference is a collaborative effort to provide a competitive environment and structure for NCAA Division III men's and women's ice hockey in the Eastern United States.
